Hispanic Heritage Month Kick Off Event/Assembly

We are excited to announce the kickoff of Hispanic Heritage Month, running from September 15th to October 15th! This month is dedicated to recognizing the contributions and celebrating the rich cultural history of Latinos in the United States. We will kick off our celebration on Monday with an assembly featuring vibrant folkloric dancers. Scholars are encouraged to dress up in traditional attire on September 16 if they would like to join in the festivities!

Hispanic Heritage Month occurs during this 30-day period to honor the national independence days of several Latin American countries, many of which are celebrated around September 15th. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the histories, cultures, and contributions of Hispanic American citizens.
