REACH Earns WASC Accreditation Through 2029!
We are proud to announce that REACH has been granted accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) through June 2029! This achievement reflects the dedication of our faculty, staff, and stakeholders to providing high-quality learning and continuous improvement for all students. We extend our gratitude to the WASC visiting committee for their insights and support throughout the process.
What is WASC Accreditation?
WASC is a globally recognized accrediting body that ensures schools meet high standards of quality, learning, and student well-being. Accreditation confirms that REACH:
- Fulfills its mission and educational goals
- Meets rigorous WASC criteria for excellence
- Engages in continuous self-reflection and improvement

- 2018: REACH hosted its initial WASC visit and was granted Initial Accreditation Status through June 30, 2021.
- 2021-22: Accreditation was extended for an additional year.
- 2022: REACH prepared a self-study for a scheduled spring visit, but due to COVID-19, it was postponed.
- October 2022: WASC Visiting Committee conducted its on-site review.
- February 2023: REACH was awarded full accreditation through June 2029.
- 2025-26: REACH will undergo a mid-cycle visit to review progress and continued improvement.
