Counseling

Here at REACH we strive to meet the social emotional needs of our scholars. Our counselor offers a range of mental health, counseling, and social emotional services to support our scholars and ensure they are equipped to succeed in life. Our counseling services are reserved for those scholars whose social emotional needs are impacting their academic performance. If your child is struggling with social-emotional challenges and needs to speak with someone, our counselor is available to help guide your student to navigate through these challenges. Please submit your request by following the link below.

Fill out our counseling referral form linked below and someone from our Student Support Services Department will reach out to parents and or guardian within 24-48 hours to discuss concerns and next steps forward.

Do you want to look for your own mental health professional? 

  1. Psychologytoday.com, to find a therapist in your local area with current availability.
  2. Openpathcollective.org for affordable mental health services
  3. Call your insurance (Kaiser, IEP, BlueShield, etc) and your insurance provider will connect you with a referral list of therapists who accept your insurance and the type of service you need (family counseling, marital counseling, psychological assessment, individual counseling, psychiatric services, and more).

Write down your thoughts, feelings, and ideas.

Feel Good Activity

Do your “feel good”activity once a week. This can be as simple as stopping to get your favorite coffee in the morning or listening to a podcast or a book on your downtime.
