Raymond Casias is a dedicated history teacher with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Social Science from Cal Poly Pomona. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Education from National University, Raymond has been teaching since 2021 in Jurupa Valley, Temecula, and now at a school in Corona, California.

Raymond is passionate about sharing his love for history with his students and finds joy in seeing them make connections and grow through their understanding of the past. He values the school’s house system and the genuine enthusiasm from both students and faculty, which allows for a collaborative and engaging learning environment. Outside the classroom, Raymond enjoys reading and watching fantasy and sci-fi genres, with The Lord of the Rings being a particular favorite. He also loves hiking with his wife and their three golden retrievers. Pizza and sushi are his go-to comfort foods.

Raymond is committed to becoming a better teacher by trying new things and making history more enjoyable for his students. His aim is to create a dynamic classroom experience that inspires and excites his students about the past.
