Diana Perez
5th Grade Language Arts Teacher
Born and raised in Riverside, Diana Perez has recently completed her Master’s and credential program at California Baptist University. Before that, she spent five years in San Francisco, where she earned her bachelor’s degree at San Francisco State University. Diana is excited to start her first year of teaching at REACH, a community she already feels warmly welcomed by. With three years of experience as an intensive behavior interventionist, Diana brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for working with children.
An avid reader, Diana has devoured 41 books this year, with a goal of reaching 50. Her love for Sarah J. Maas’s books is so profound. When she’s not reading, Diana enjoys trying out new coffee shops around the city, indulging in pasta and Mediterranean food, and exploring different culinary delights.
Diana’s personal and professional goals for the year include stepping out of her comfort zone and connecting with new teachers. She is committed to building meaningful relationships with her students and providing them with the space and opportunities to grow both academically and personally. Diana is enthusiastic about witnessing the growth of her students throughout the year and is dedicated to supporting their development in every way possible.
