Sandra Oropeza earned her degrees from Mt. San Antonio College and California State University, Los Angeles. She began her career in early childhood development, working with young children before embarking on her journey at REACH in 2017, where she initially taught 6th grade before transitioning to 4th grade.
Her favorite aspect of teaching is witnessing the unique growth of each student throughout the year. Sandra finds it truly rewarding to see their development from the first day of school to the last, not only academically but also as individuals. She appreciates the diverse blend of students and staff at REACH, believing that diversity fosters connections and allows everyone to learn from one another while celebrating their differences.
Outside of the classroom, Sandra enjoys spending her free time reading physical books and exploring new cuisines. Her goal is to inspire her students to develop a love for reading and enjoy it for its own sake.
