Julia received her degree from California State University Monterey Bay and began her teacher career shortly after. She loves teaching 3rd grade and getting to know her students. Her favorite thing about her job is developing a relationship with scholars and teaching math. Julia shares how it is so much fun to see the lightbulb go off when a student is making a new math connection. Outside the classroom, her hobbies include reading fantasy books, going to the beach, and spending time with friends. She is excited to be at REACH and loves the community and spirit.
