Mrs. Monae Gascon began her teaching career in 2007 after graduating from San Diego State University and Lesley University, starting as a first-grade teacher in Atlanta, Georgia. She is excited to be a part of the diverse community at REACH, which she describes as a big family united by a common goal: ensuring the success of every child. Monae's favorite aspect of her job is the opportunity to meet new students each year and the rewarding challenge of helping them grow and learn. Outside the classroom, she enjoys cooking and baking, and cherishes spending time with her family. Committed to her professional development, Monae aims to continually grow as an educator and be the best role model for her students.
