Ms. Jazmyn Juarez is an enthusiastic educator with a deep love for learning and community. Raised in Norco, California, and now residing in Moreno Valley, she brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role at REACH. Jazmyn earned her bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Religious Studies from Claremont McKenna College and is currently pursuing her Master’s of Education.
With 9 years of experience in education as a tutor and youth ministry mentor, Jazmyn's journey in teaching began in 2022 at REACH as a residential substitute teacher. Her immediate connection with the scholars and staff inspired her to transition to a full-time teaching role. Jazmyn is dedicated to project-based learning and high expectations, valuing the close-knit community between scholars, teachers, and parents.
Outside of the classroom, Jazmyn enjoys playing board games with her family and performing with community bands on the saxophone. Her favorite book is The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, and she has a particular fondness for sushi. As the first person in her family to graduate from college, Jazmyn is passionate about fostering leadership and confidence in her students, making it her favorite part of the job to see them grow and inspire one another.
