Our annual Jogathon has come to an end. The 2023 Pajama Jog was a success! Scholars had a great time, and we surpassed all our fundraising goals, setting a new record!
We know you are waiting for the results to see whose class came out on top and raised the most, and the results are in. In third place, raising a total of $2,700 is Ms. Tolson’s class. Coming in second place, raising a total of $3,345, is Mrs. Jeter's second-grade class. Last but not least, for the second year in a row, the winner of this year's 2023 class jogathon fundraiser competition is Ms. Cassidy’s TK class, raising a total of $3,805!
Not only did we have a class competition, but we also had a scholar competition. Each scholar competed against each other in hopes of raising the most money to win the prize of being Principal for the Day! That’s right, you read right, Principal for the Day. With hard work, dedication, and commitment, we announce the winner, Avery S., who raised a whopping total of $2,505. Congratulations! Our Top 20 Earners will also get a special Video Game Afternoon. We will send those invitations out soon.
Through sponsorship pledges and community donations, our REACH families helped raise an impressive $36,502! This remarkable achievement surpassed our expectations and will help to offset costs for fun end-of-the-year student activities, such as SBAC Pep Rally and Cool Down, 6th Grade Movie and Dinner Night, and class field trips. Well Done! In addition to Avery, we would also like to highlight our top runners. The scholars who ran the most laps at our 2023-2024 jogathon are Jaquawn R. and Justice H., who tied for Top Runner with 13 laps each!
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in supporting REACH. This jogathon was only a testament to what we can achieve when we come together as a school community. It was a day of fun, fitness, and fundraising, leaving us all inspired and looking forward to next year’s event!
