We want YOU for the REACH Leadership STEAM Academy School Site Council (RSSC)!

The purpose of the council is to have school staff, parents, and community voices at the table. The School Site Council (RSSC) is responsible for reviewing and using information from many sources to make decisions about improving programs at our school. The RSSC makes decisions on how to use funding to improve academic achievement for all students. 

As a participant of RSSC you will:

• Set and/or review school goals
• Collaborate with other Advisory Groups
• Obtain recommendations from other groups regarding the focus of the school
• Encourage parent, family, and community involvement
• Spearhead other initiatives

Meetings are generally held about 4-6 times per year and last approximately 1 hour. The RSSC will determine meeting times during the drafting of their bylaws.
