Updated Public Health Guidelines for Students with COVID-19 symptoms:

Currently, if your child has two or more COVID symptoms, you must keep them home. Some COVID symptoms may include runny nose, sore throat, coughing, vomiting, diarrhea, and shortness of breath.

The new student guidelines state that you must do one of the following for your child to return to school:

  1. Negative COVID test, or
  2. Keep them home for 10 days from the onset of their symptoms

See this info from the Riverside County Office of Public Health for more about this updated guidance.
